Our Client is a very
successful, stable, global company with ~2,500 employees, a leader in their
space. This project has 100% funding and the Architect will be a key
long-term IT employee and will have an ongoing list of projects after this
BCP initiative, in addition to managing the BCP strategy and maintenance
going forward.

Responsibilities:
·
Provide a
roadmap for Technology Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for key
Infrastructure systems and Application platforms.
·
Development,
implementation and execution of the company's BCP Test Plans
·
Provide
executive IT management with periodic status updates and final BCP
reporting.
·
Advise and
assist with Infrastructure Architecture, Design, Planning and
Implementation, for Technology Services.
·
Technology
platforms associated with the core infrastructure including: Business
Continuity, Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Windows, Messaging, Data
Center Design and Client Computing
Major Duties:
·
Develop BCP
plans & test protocols to successfully oversee full BCP testing as
outlined by executive IT Management in conjunction with business
requirements.
·
Coordinate,
schedule and collaborate with internal IT customers to ensure system
architectures are incorporated into the BCP plans for final testing and
failover.
·
Transition
BCP test plans to operations or 3rd party and ensure ongoing processes
and controls are implemented, enforced and performed on a scheduled
basis to demonstrate successful BCP testing.
·
Manage and
implement processes and controls for BCP.
·
Assist and
Advise in the design & architecture of infrastructure platforms to
support Business Continuity for core infrastructure and applications.
·
Manage,
develop and implement corporate IT disaster recovery infrastructure
processes in conjunction with company wide business continuity plan and
aligned to under ISO 9000 standards.
·
Assist and
Advise in the Design and implement system infrastructure to include, BCP,
Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Messaging, Data Center Design and
Client Computing.
·
Manage,
develop, implement, and maintain all policies and procedures related to
ISO, SOX, (GMP) FDA compliance regulations and change management
control.
·
Comply with
provisions identified in the IT Quality Manual and Work Instructions
that support your area of influence and the IT Department. Establish
control measures and KPI’s to ensure effectiveness of BCP programs as it
relates to IT areas.

Project
Management - Provide resources to support defined projects in the IT
Application space & Infrastructure.
Education:
10+ year IT experience, or
BS/BA Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration
Experience Required:
·
Ability to
provide technical power of influence over team
·
Managed a BCP
program within a medium to large server infrastructure environment.
·
Managed
multiple projects
·
Managed data
center and data center vendors
·
Managed
integrated systems implementation and maintenance.
·
Knowledge of
server, network architecture, design and implementation.
·
Network
implementation, administration of Windows NT & Ad, Exchange and
Microsoft Management product suite.
Special Training:
·
Techncial
training/understanding of LAN/WAN Networks
·
Management
training associated with personnel management.
·
Experience/Certification in Computer System Validation
·
Experience/Certification in ISO 9001:2000; BS7799:2002-2; TickIT
standards
